Things might have looked a little different for this gorgeous couple than they thought but the feelings and the vibe just as emotional, celebratory and joyful!
The day was bright and started at Nicole's parents home. The most moving moment was watching her mom and dad see her for the first time after she got ready- tears were shed by almost anyone in the room! I highly recommend doing a first look with your parents- one or both of them if possible. We moved on to the bride and grooms first look at their reception venue and then to Quarton Lake for portraits before the ceremony. It was the perfect backdrop to capture intimate images of the two of them and a close up of Nicole's hair and make up done immaculately by Team Glam Detroit. The outdoor ceremony had the most gorgeous neutral palette accented with gold, blue and greens and moved seamlessly from ceremony to cocktails to dinner. The favors of Champagne Toast candles were such great idea- who wouldn't want to take one of those home?? Cheers to this couple for moving ahead with their wedding plans and making it work despite the obstacles 2020 brought to brides and grooms- it was a day to remember!
